I am a data journalist on the Reuters News election team, focused primarily on campaign finance this presidential election cycle.
I was the data reporter for The Memphis Commercial Appeal for more than six years. Much of my work supported the Data Center and special projects. I also used to commit journalism for the Miami Herald, Florida Center for Investigative Journalism and the Connecticut Health I-Team.
I teach a fundamentals of interactive journalism course at CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism, in which students learn some coding, mapping and multimedia storytelling. I taught a basic web development course in the University of Memphis Department of Journalism. I built the website for the Bluff City Brewers & Connoisseurs.
